I will let you know what I think soon. :) Things on my want to do list that I have had to let go of.... Most involve walking any distance. (Or my feet kill me.) I would dearly love to go back to the Boundry Waters Canoe Area. But since I am not able to walk on uneven surfaces that is out. :( And the Grandsons would LOVE grandma to play on the floor. It doesn't happen as often as I would like, since it is almost impossible to get back up! *sigh* How do I feel. SAD. Yet detirmined to loss some weight and believe that I will be able to walk a bit further and even get off the floor with out a crane!Carol Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06843033203631245758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7096964605484237258.post-15631788808187712812013-02-09T08:34:47.185-08:002013-02-09T08:34:47.185-08:00Your words (and His, thru you) are such a balm to ...Your words (and His, thru you) are such a balm to my heart. You, and you collectively, have been His hands and feet a lot more than you realize. I appreciate your encouragement, your friendship and your wisdom, my young Solomon...actually you are wiser, as you have not let 300 women turn your head and blur your vision. peteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04842363901612535790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7096964605484237258.post-46941679552702289872013-02-09T07:56:51.230-08:002013-02-09T07:56:51.230-08:00(John 15:)I can hear my Lord saying, “These things...(John 15:)I can hear my Lord saying, “These things I have spoken to you, (Petey), that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full…” He’d been talking about the vine and branches saying, “Abide in me as I abide in you.” What situation had Jesus arrived at when he spoke about His joy? He was about to enter the passion. Yes, it was horrible but he reminded us, he was leaving us His joy and nothing can steal it away if we abide in Him. It’s way cool, that he didn’t promise we’d have joy like his or similar joy, but…no…no… he said, “My joy.” I read your words and see that JOY in midst of everything. Thanks for sharing it with us and we hope we can share in the triumph of Christian grief. Nothing much has been effective for my inflammation, and its not a cureall, but the past week there was a remarkable difference in what I could do. Unfortunately, the bad weather showed up and pretty much undid it all, for now anyway.
peteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04842363901612535790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7096964605484237258.post-27147017015903825972013-02-08T21:26:37.177-08:002013-02-08T21:26:37.177-08:00Kim, Gods word is so powerful, and He is so good.....Kim, Gods word is so powerful, and He is so good....it makes me weep to think that He cares about us. Thank you for illuminating His word, and sharing His love and mercy through this blog.

You asked if we had things we had too let go of. I don't know if you wanted a response, but I'll give you one anyway :). Coincidentally I had to give up horses and riding also. Difficult when it's hard wired into you from birth. The sadness and melancholy are fading and sometimes I'm even able to look at the situation logically. Life does have other things to offer.

I'm happy to hear that you've gotten relief from turmeric. I did some reading on it some months ago and it sounded amazing. I've tried a lot of joint formulas and natural anti-inflammatories but have not noticed a difference with them. I too will be checking out turmeric for myself.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend of love and laughter with your loved ones. God Bless.
KristiKristinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7096964605484237258.post-82311392514995838342013-02-08T15:32:05.056-08:002013-02-08T15:32:05.056-08:00The ones I take are by New Chapter (recommended by...The ones I take are by New Chapter (recommended by someone online) I take 1 each morning. I've also been taking melatonin at night to help me sleep. I DEFINITELY feel a difference with the turmeric, which is interesting since I have NOT seen a response to most prescription drugs I take, with the exception of the steroids.peteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04842363901612535790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7096964605484237258.post-68519501458992025202013-02-08T15:26:29.175-08:002013-02-08T15:26:29.175-08:00You always open my eyes to the ways of our Dear Lo...You always open my eyes to the ways of our Dear Lord. Reminding me again *In his time, not mine.*
I am very interested in the Turmeric Caps. I hope to find them when I go to town this weekend. How many do you take in a day?
Cletus reminds me of the affection and care I would recieve from Fido (the big orange tabby cat we used to have) He would curl up on me and keep me warm and snug and purr his relaxation into me when I would be taking refuge on the sofa battle some bug or another. He could Knead the stress right out of me. :) Love those critters.
Have a fun time with Family. And really they came to see YOU not if your house was CLEAN enough!
Hugs...CAROL DEECarol Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06843033203631245758noreply@blogger.com
